Há uns anos atrás, li um livro de John Gray, chamado "Os homens são de Marte e as mulheres de Vénus". Adorei o livro, infelizmente emprestei-o a uma amiga que na altura andava desencontrada no seu casamento (acho q ainda anda, eu entretanto é que mudei de estado civil), porque achei que a poderia ajudar, e infelizmente por lá ficou - o livro. No livro, entre outras coisas, o autor falava sobre aquilo a que chama a Teoria do elástico. Basicamente tem a ver com o facto de alguns homens se sentirem desconfortáveis com um contexto de muita intimidade, e terem necessidade de se distanciar (de se retirarem para a sua caverna, como ele diz) quando sentem que estão a entrar nessa zona de desconforto. Por seu turno, as mulheres muitas vezes não entendem esse distanciamento, sentem-se inseguras e acabam por pressionar.
